    Star [*] ANNUAL DUES

The time has come for our treasurer to once more collect our annual dues of $50.00 (fifty dollars).   This will be for 2007-2008. Miriam will soon be posting an announcement regarding this.  The 2006-2007 dues were collected at the first global reunion in Las Vegas in August 2006. Thank you, classmates, for your cooperation and for promptly remitting this amount to Miriam.

We will pay our dues on December when we meet on New York. Can you please post the tentative or final date we are to meet on December so that I can prepare our tickets? Thanks

December 7,8 and 9 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) are the final dates for the mini-reunion.  It is much easier to fly to the Newark, NJ airport Deanboy - the airport code is EWR. New York airports are too busy and the traffic to and from the airport is unpredictable. See you in December!  Our NY/NJ hosts (with Tessie and Miriam as the main coordinators)  are  thinking about including a tour of  the Princeton University campus, a New York City Bus tour and maybe a Broadway play.

Thanks for the info.  I am still waiting for the class schedule of our son so that we can finalize our booking. We have tentatively planned to leave here on the 6th december for New Jersey as we have done previously then proceed to Orlando on the 9th. I like the places you have mentioned for we have not been to this places when we were there. Can Tessie accomodate us? If not then we will have to book for a hotel ? Can you recommend an affordable, convenient, safe and accessible hotel?

    Deanboy,

I have put in a call to Tessie and I am waiting for her response. I will let you know when she gets back with me. I think she will be able to accommodate some, but I do not want to state anything definite until she says so.  I will also relay this to Miriam and she could suggest hotels close by that are safe, clean and reasonably priced.  We are excited you and Santi will be attending and look forward to seeing you in December. Hopefully we will have a good number of classmates attending.

    Hi Miga Gats,

Nabaton ko na ang card nga gin mention mo while we were in Vancouver. Baw on  the way to the post office ka gid gali when I texted you. Thanks gid! Ramig-ramig sa Victoria Island ba! Thanks for the tip on how to keep warm. Thanks also for the tips on how to survive the hanging bridge. I felt like Indiana Jones and told Irms...Look, no hands! Kuno abi waay uyat sa side ropes. But seriously, that was a nice experience and beautiful sight at the Hanging Bridge.

I also want to acknowledge receipt of your check for the membership dues.

I'm happy to hear that you and DayJane are thinking of attending the NY/NJ Mini-reunion. That is great! I'm looking forward to seeing DayJane too when you both come this December. Sabat sa pamangkot mo, please take the Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) to fly in to New Jersey. We are close to the airport and even with traffic, if there will be one, it will not be 3+ hours bumper to bumper crawling when going to the JFK airport. Ask Irms & Sammy T, they learned the hard way....hehehehe.

Ti, I hope to see you in the website shortly since your technical challenge has been addressed and see you soon in person. Smile [:)]

    Dear Klasmits,

As of today, September 13, 2008 we have a balance of $470.45 on our membership dues.  The officers are planning to have a meeting this coming October 10 in Palmdale, California at our chief's house ( Tim Gabio) to discuss and decide on what project we will undertake.  In the meantime, if you have any suggestions, feel free to give us your input, ideas or thoughts on this undertaking by contacting any of your officers or you can log it in on our website.

We your officers count it a privilege to hear from you and we shall be please if you can attend this upcoming meeting as well.

    Thank you.

May I suggest some books/journals for use of the  HS students in the library...remember suggestion/s is open for everybody.  Please feel free to log in your suggestions - they will be discussed during our officers' meeting in October.

    Have a blessed day everyone...
