Congratulations to ELMO FAMILIARAN - Published AUTHOR!

I am proud to announce to the class that another feather has been added to Elmo's cap - his  newest achievement :  published author.  Elmo (and a co-author) have completed "No Greater Love: Triumph and Sacrifice of American Baptist Missionaries during WW II Philippines, and the Martyrdom in Hopevale."  The book can be ordered from Worldwide Gifts, the publisher. Interested classmates could call (920)294-7313  or send an e-mail to wwg@glcc.org to order.  Elmo is also writing a column on the missionary heritage of CPU for the CPU Link  His CPU Link column and his book share the same title.

Both the book and the CPU Link column are valuable resources to us all. As Elmo has wisely noted,  understanding the Baptist missionary heriatge of CPU will be helpful to all of us in crystallizing our identity as Centralians.

Congratulations to Elmo (and his muse, Maria Fe)!

    Klasmits,

Irms, thanks gid for making the announcement to the classmates about my book and the CPU Link column.

Tim G., daw makahaladlukan gid ina ang proposisyon mo! You know kon diin ako ginabutang sang Gino-o gina pahibalo nya gid sa akon sang maklaro. Ang CPU presidency wa-ay gid bisan hutik ako nga nabati-an sa Gino-o. So wa-ay gid ina bisan pintok sa akon "soul" radar! I am sure nga may talapuson pa ako diri sa ginahimo ko kay I still feel I am in the right place for this time in my journey.

Nonetheless, salamat gid sa inyo tanan who took time to give me your vote of confidence and your good wishes. Ti, husto si Charito, nga ang accomplishment sang isa sa aton, accomplishment -in a symbolic way - sang tanan sa HS Class '72!

I think Irma started a good tradition for our website. I think it will be a great thing to post some recent achievements of or milestones in our classmates in their respective vocations - whatever they may be doing in life - so we can celebrate as a class. I think this will also be a good way of getting contemporary updates on our classmates. So what do you think, Irms?

So kon may nahibal-an kamo nga gusto nyo i-share about one of our classmates, just let Irma know.

Salamat gid, classmates. Kon mahibal-an ko nga nakabulig sang bisan diotay ang akon libro kag CPU Link column sa kay kon sin-o, malipayon na ako!
